Not What I Set Out To Do
Turmoil and danglings.
I heard someone say once that those who can afford it have a shrink and for the rest of us there is music. Needless to say; I have music. And a lot of it.
In that context I must need a shrink pretty badly ![]()
There is some truth to the saying, however. I am fairly sure that playing and composing music has saved my emotional wellbeing on numerous occasions. I revert to the piano as my big black psychiatrist.
I can always channel and focus my emotions through music and playing the piano. It’s as if the harmonic vibrations put everything in the right place and the right perspective every time I play.
So a big thank you to music may be in order. Everybody cheer!
Thank you for listening!

Tabletop
Today, dear people, I did something I never imagined I would ever do.
Don’t worry, it’s not that lifechanging, but still.
I disassembled and moved two diningroom tables and assembled three(!). Yep, not that special nor lifechanging, but quite satisfying nonetheless.
Today’s piece is actually the setup demo, which I recorded so that I could remind myself of the original idea, but then the grand table dance began and upon listening back the recording didn’t seem so demo-ish at all.
Thank you for listening! And please share if you enjoy my musings.

To celebrate one year of Daily Piano Pieces I have created four cd's for you to download.
Jazzy Red, High 'n White, Classic Green and Bluesy Blue
Enter your name and email below and I shall send you a link to the download page.
Happy times and happy listenings ;-)
